As a petite female, the ability to effectively
defend myself has always been a major
concern.  A few months ago, I began CKM
training with Andrew, and in that short period
of time I feel that I have learned more self
defense than I did in my six years in the
Army.  The training he provides is very

techniques to suit my size.  

Additionally, I am currently working toward my
Doctorate in Physical Therapy, which is often

goals when I began CKM training was to find

exercises require you to work against your

you to push yourself in both strength and

worth the extra effort.   

Overall, I have been ecstatic with the training I
have received from Andrew.  His love for
teaching CKM is apparent,
my normal stress level has been cut in half,
and I am learning valuable skills that could
be used in any situation, to
include the possibility that I may one day
have to return to a combat zone.

program, but Andrew has taken the time help
my husband and I with our fitness efforts.

I have lost 40pounds since April, but I have
80-100lbs left to loose. I haven't worked out
in several months, and I'm terribly out of
shape. I haven't told Andrew, but I also have
Fibromyalgia. Some days, all I want to do is

My first day at CKM was a reality check my
body couldn't cash. I got through about half of
the training session before I was completely
exhausted. I was so tired after about an hour

the true…I have never lost a fight. I GOT
HERE TO THE U.S.A and took some karate
classes with my pops. I went back to judo,
but I had to drop to work to support my family.
I am a real human being with some real
problems, but as warrior I FACE THEM and
keep on moving. Mistakes I have made

I've only been able to participate in a few days
of the ECF Challenge but, it has already
helped me in so many ways. The biggest
change has been with my smoking. I have
been a smoker for 10 years, after the first day
that I joined the group I knew I wouldn't be
able to keep up with them if I continued to
smoke. I have cut down significantly, and
when I have lit up a cigarette I couldn't finish
it. That is just one the things that the program
has done for me.
Another way it has helped me is by teaching
me to eat healthier. I have never been an avid
dieter, let's just say I don't have will power
when it comes to ordering delivery on a rainy
day, but I have always eaten pretty well. This
program has given me a tremendous
challenge of having a completely healthy diet.
I have learned that soy milk really isn't bad, it
actually tastes pretty good, and I've really
enjoyed the challenge of cooking while
avoiding dairy.
As for the actual exercise part, that has been
the biggest challenge. The thing that I've
enjoyed is how Drew breaks up the routine
so we never know what to expect and we
never get bored. I didn't realize how I missed
being on a team, we all are in this program
together and encourage each other even
though some of us are not actually doing the
120 day challenge.

Overall, this has been an amazing
experience for me. The fact that Drew has
been encouraging us and being extremely
pasient gives us that extra confidence. The
fact that he is offering this program to us for
free is so generous. It is an amazing
program and Drew has been a great teacher.
Because of ECF and Drew I feel so much
more healthy, and most of all I little more
confident knowing a little self defense. There
have been too many people in Savannah that
have been in a horrible situation and not able
to defend themselves. Just knowing some
techniques to protect myself makes me
actually more aware, probably because I
hope to never be in a situation that I would
have to use self defense.

I HAVE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED MY TIME AT
THE LAS VEGAS CKM SEMINAR. IT'S NOT
OFTEN WHERE OLDER DOGS GET THE BEST
PULLED OUT OF THEM. CKM/ELITE COMBAT
FITNESS INSTRUCTOR, ANDREW CLOUGH
WAS ABLE TO PULL IT OUT OF ME AT 44
AND FELLOW U.S.M.C PARTNER, WHO'S
PUSHING 40. PEOPLE OUR AGE DON'T
USUALLY FIND IT EXHILARATING TO LOG
JUMP, CRAB CRAWL, BURSTING JUMPS,
AND BOULDER THROWS UP ROCKY
MOUNTAIN TERRAINS FUN, BUT THE
COMRADE THAT WE SHARED MADE IT
MEMORABLE. AFTER THAT, WE MOVED ON
TO OUR STRESS TEST IN A PARKING LOT
ON CEMENT. WE ALL KNOW SKULL AND
CONCRETE AREN'T FRIENDS. THANK YOU
